ONCFS contribution to understanding the requirements of bird species
Research conducted by ONCFS has enhanced our understanding of what birds seek from bocage terrain. This research focussed in particular on pigeons and doves, thrushes and the red-legged partridge :

ONCFS species datasheets
Each species datasheet includes a description of the species and its biological and ecological characteristics, together with information about its distribution, protection status, hunting techniques, regulatory provisions in France, the state of populations and natural threats, management proposals, topics for research and a bibliography.
